BELLE'S THERAPY
Belle's therapy is a short two-minute film that is my response to the given theme 'Human Body and the Digital world.' The message I wanted to create here was the idea that technology has advanced so much and continues to do so. We will eventually be able to remedy mental and pysical disorders via external methods to greater effect, without the need of pills or medical treatments. Instead we will be able to rehabiliate ourselves with memories created by us. My idea was to create an AI that acts and behaves as a therapist with the treatment being revisiting moments in our lives that made us most happy. The purpose of the multi screen acts out symbolically two timelines of one individual. Visiting the past, whilst also living in the present future. Then in the end being combined together. This reflects the power and dependency our minds will have on technology, greater than we do today.
Hi Ollie an interesting concept and you seem to have learned a lot of AE techniques to create the final piece - one question - Is the ghost busters party your own footage or found online? You don't mention it whereas you have been meticulous in indicating the copyright status on everything else
